Leonard visits Altus

Ryan Leonard, candidate for Attorney General, is seen visting with Sen. Mike Schulz yesterday in Altus. Leonard was in town to speak at the Southwest Oklahoma Republican Women’s meeting, as well as other groups. Leonard, 37, is an attorney, former state prosecutor, and former senior aide to U.S. Senator Don Nickles. A fourth-generation native of Beaver in the Oklahoma panhandle, Leonard presently resides in Oklahoma City with his wife Carrie and their three children. He said that he will officially kick-off his campaign in the coming weeks. While in Altus, he spoke about issues of the campaign including consumer protection and the state rights issues.
