Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday in Delhi Cemetery in Delhi, Okla.
Visitation was held Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Naomi was born on June 18, 1925, in Magazine, Ark., to Harvey and Virgie Hamilton. Naomi was called "Sis" by her only living sibling, Barbara Hamilton Privett of Altus, and "Aunt Sis" by her many nieces and nephews. Sis was a name given to her by her loving parents. Of course her own children loved her and affectionately called her Mom. Her grandchildren called her "Grams." A woman of many names all showing love, respect and admiration. She married Alvin Lewis Lowrance on June 18, 1946. He preceded her in death after a marriage that lasted almost 64 years. They lived a fun and adventurous life. Together they had two children, Ronald Lowrance of Aledo, and Linda Wood of Azle.
Naomi started her career as a switch board operator in Arapaho. While in Arapaho, she also served as assistant postmaster. She later began her banking career in Altus at the National Bank of Commerce. She continued in banking when she transferred to Security State Bank in River Oaks until her retirement. Naomi was dedicated to her work and showed compassion for everyone she met. Naomi was a woman of many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycling, water skiing, creating ceramics, playing cards and games and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Lewis Lowrance; their granddaughter, Lindsey Lowrance; her mother; father; two brothers; and one sister.
In addition to her children, Naomi is survived by Barbara and Ken Privett and Eddy Wood; grandchildren, Lisa Wood and her fiance, Barry Pearson, Eddy Wayne and Debby Wood, Kristi and Scott Harm, Michael Lowrance and Billy Lowrance; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
