The annual Red Cross Style Show and Luncheon will be held tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Family Life Center of the First United Methodist Church, 317 N. Main. In addition to the style show and luncheon, to be emceed by Ken and Nancy Cox, there will be a silent bid auction. Merchants sponsoring the style show include Maurice’s, Payless Shoesource, Cotton Patch, Cato, Rustic Rose, The Booterie, Belles and Beaux, Lady Austin’s and Crown Jewelry. Debra Borders of Crown Jewelry is shown above donating a mother’s ring to the local Red Cross Director Rosalyn Hall to be used in the silent auction. The theme for this year’s event is “The Motors,” regarding car donation. Red Cross does so much for our community, now we can help them by donating usable cars for our local chapter.
