Three quilts will be offered at the annual Country Kitchen Christmas Bazaar. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 14, starting at 11 a.m., in the Family Life Center of the First United Methodist Church.

The quilts were quilted by members of the church’s Quilting Bee.

Pieced by Lucille Holsey, “Ohio Star” is a variation of the vintage star pattern. The queen size quilt is constructed in blocks of elegant greens and pinks with a camel and green border. It will be sold through the sale of tickets

“Star of the West” was also pieced by Lucille Holsey. This traditional design is sewn in contemporary colors of Christmas pine and pistachio. Quilted blocks mirror the star pattern of the pieced blocks. It will be sold by sealed bid.

“Peppermint Candy” is a red and white quilt pieced by Pat Scoggin. The design was inspired by the traditional “Buttermilk Churn” pattern. The blocks are pieced in a charming variety of red polka dots, stripes, and plaids. This quilt would be perfect for a granddaughter’s bedroom, a Christmas table, or large wall hanging. It will be sold by sealed bid.

Three baby quilts will also be offered at the bazaar.
