Despite the rain Saturday night, the final performance of the 34th Annual Great Plains Stampede Rodeo went on and was a great show. The Queen and Princess contestants stayed on horseback and presented the flags in the arena while fighting off being soaked head to toe. The Queen and Princess coronation was held at the Hospitality Pavilion following the night’s performance. In the Princesses (10-15 years old), 2nd Runner-Up was Susan Franco, 1st Runner-Up & winner of Interview and Photogenic was Emily Smith. The new GPSRA Princess 2012 is Caylee Childs, winning Horsemanship and Ticket & Ad Sales. In the Queens (16-22 years old), Cierra Dennis was 1st Runner-Up & Ali Jo Tutten is the new GPSRA Queen 2012 winning Interview, Horsemanship, Photogenic and Overall Ticket & Ad Sales.
