Benefit fund set up for auto accident victim

A benefit fund has been set up at the First National Bank in Altus, Hobart and Mountain Park for Kevin Lile, 28, of Roosevelt, who broke his neck in a driving accident west of Roosevelt June 13.

He was taken to Jackson County Memorial Hospital then transferred to Oklahoma City by ambulance. He is in 2 East, ICU at the Presbyterian Hospital.

Surgery was performed on his neck Wednesday and he was taken off the ventilator Thursday, and was able to move his arm some.

Kevin is the son of Phillip and Beverly (Howard) Lile, of Roosevelt, and he has a daughter, Kearstyn, age 7, and a son, Kruz, age 3.

Kevin began school in Roosevelt, attended a few years at Hobart, then graduated from Navajo. He is currently employed at Altus Air Force Base.
