There’s nothing better than hot food on a cold day, and some local competitive dancers are preparing for a cold January day with some hot Mexican food.

Off the Wall Dance Productions’ competition team will host an enchilada dinner on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Altus Community Center on Falcon Road. Dinners will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. that evening, and take-out orders will be available beginning at 5 p.m. Delivery will be available for a $2 delivery fee.
Adult dinners will include three enchiladas, rice, beans, a dessert, and tea or water. Children’s dinners will consist of one enchilada, rice, beans, dessert, and tea or water. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children. Family orders, which include one dozen enchiladas, a large order of rice, and a large order of beans, will be $20. Children 2 and under will eat free.
Tickets may be purchased from any Off the Wall competition team dancer or parent, and they will be available at the door.
OTW dancers are holding this dinner to raise money for their 2013 competition season. Dancers have a busy spring schedule, including three regional conventions, during which they will study under professional dancers and choreographers. Beginning in February, they will also compete in several regional contests in Oklahoma and Texas.
Those who attend the dinner will get a glimpse of what Off the Wall dancers are doing to prepare for their competition season. Dancers will provide entertainment with group numbers and solos during Saturday’s event.
For more information, contact any Off the Wall competition team dancer or call (580) 481-0818.
