The Jackson County Ministerial Alliance is excited to announce the annual Community Thanksgiving Service has been set for Sunday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, and will feature Rick Green as guest speaker.

Green is a nationally recognized speaker and author influencing thousands to be salt and light in their communities. He works alongside David Barton as the premier voices of Wall Builders, an organization dedicated to the rebuilding of the foundations of our nation. Green will bring fresh, encouraging words regarding God and country. His experience and insight will help develop strength, honor and dignity in our community and nation.

Music for the evening will be led by three of “our own,” Blake Pewo, Jeff Diltz and Levi Tovar. These homegrown young men ooze with talent and will offer a worship experience beneficial to all.

Immediately following this service all area Junior High and High School students are invited across the street to the First United Methodist Family Life Center for food, fellowship and fun. Inflatables, music, burgers, pizza, tacos and much more will provide the atmosphere for our youth to enjoy one another.

This community event is open to everyone.
