The Martha Road Baptist Church Praise Team will provide music at the festival. A country Christian musical festival, “Gathering Unto Him”, will be held Saturday, Oct. 6. An evening of music and testimony in Faxon. It will begin with a pot-luck covered dish meal from 5 to 6:30 p.m. There will be seating, including hay bales, but you may bring your lawn chairs. The meal will be followed by worship music led by the Martha Road Baptist Church Worship Team. Testimonials will follow.
This festival has been on Nancy’s mind for ten years. When they moved to Faxon (south of Cache), she felt that their place would be used to bring God glory in worship. She said they wish to express gratitude for the daily blessings Jesus provides. She and Randy are offering their place to bless Him with fellowship, praise and testimony with this event.
The Jones’ are inviting those who want to join them at 6231 SW Airport Road, Faxon, OK 73540. From Hwy. 62 take the Cache exit south and go south nine miles to yield sign. Turn left (east) and go two miles to Airport Rd. Turn left (north) and go to second house on left (west) side of road. There will be direction signs on route. For information, call 580-704-4709.
