Jesse Motley, Youth Minister at Emmanuel Baptist Church, is shown filling baskets with candy their for the Oct. 31 Trunk-or-Treat event at the church. The parking lot of the church (at Forrest and A Street) will have decorated vehicle trunks where children can go vehicle-to-vehicle and trick-or-treat for candy. There will also be games available for the kids. The Emmanuel Baptist event will be held Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., but other churchs are also holding similar events. Also on Wedneday, Oct. 31, the First Baptist Church will hold their Harvest Blessings Truck-or-Treat event at the Community Center on Falcon Road from 6 to 8 p.m. They will be offering free hot dogs and soda (while they last), as well as the trunk-or-treat event and other games. On Tuesday, Oct. 30, the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ will hold their Fall Festival Trunk-or-Treat event at the church, 400 N. Hudson, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
