Bulldog Academy winners
Bulldog Academy art students reently earned honors in the Patriotic Art Contest. The contest was sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #4876. From left are Ebony Nelms, 2nd place winner; DeeAnn Roberts, art teacher; Dora Tischler, President of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW; and Michael Ornelas, 1st place winner. Michael’s picture won both the local and state award, and is now vying for the top national award. The 3rd place award went to Taylor Gray, shown below. Altus High School winners, under the direction of Bobby Avilla, were 1st place, Julia Pack; 2nd place, Beatriz Loera; and 3rd place, Bailey Johnson.
