AIS assistant principal killed in tragic accident
Frederick “Rick” James Roop, of Altus, was tragically killed in an accident at the Tillman Producers Co-Op Fertilizer Plant in Frederick Thursday. According to reports from Frederick Chief of Police Joel Neely, officers were called to the facility at about 6:27 p.m. to assist Tillman County Ambulance Service with a person who had fallen from a railroad grain car and was unresponsive.
