GRP funding availability announced
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Farm Service Agency (FSA) are now accepting applications for the 2013 Grasslands Reserve Program (GRP). The Grassland Reserve Program is jointly administered by NRCS and FSA. 7,153 Pounds of Food Collected in Altus
On May 11, letter carriers worked to stamp out hunger by collecting non-perishable donations from residents on their mail routes. In Altus, 7,153 pounds of food were collected to benefit the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s partner agency Southwest OK Community Action in Altus.
