Bulldogs gain respect and poll position

Poll-makers took notice of the Altus Bulldogs this week after they ran through their arch rival and rocked another ranked opponent.

The Bulldogs will enter tomorrow night’s district opener at home against El Reno as the number two ranked team in Class 5A. Make no mistake in your perception of this team. This 2015 version of the Bulldogs is built to win from the top down. The Bulldogs possess the scheme, personnel, speed, size, experience, drive, leadership and chemistry to put together a very special season. The rest of the state knows it.

Therefore the rest of class 5A below the Bulldogs are hungry to move up the list. That is the reason for the target is on our backs. They want to hit us and knock us down off of our pedestal.

Fans love to see the polls. Number one is Lawton Mac and sitting right there in the very visible two spot is Altus. I must admit, it feels good. It actually feels amazing.

The Bulldogs know what is at stake and tomorrow night against El Reno, they will be ready to defend it. Make sure you are inside The Rock to see it.

The team needs the grand support we have given them so far. That support must continue or increase in magnitude. The Bulldogs count on it.

GO BULLDOGS!!
