During the regular meeting of the Jackson County Commissioners held Monday, the re-appointment of Lindsey King, M.D., to the County Board of Health was approved.
The monthly report and reconcilement of July 2015 for the Health Department and the Assessor’s offices, blanket purchase orders, and supplemental appropriations for July 2015 were approved.
Officer’s reports; the County Assessor’s Office will be closed the remainder of the week and will re-open Monday, Aug. 10, also the house at 1503 N. Hudson will be auctioned on Aug. 15 at 10 am, on site.
Transfer of appropriations within the Jackson County Sales Tax Revolving Fund from Maintenance and Operations to Salaries in the amount of $200,000, for the Sheriff’s Department was granted approval by the Commissioners.
County Treasurer Renee Howard, gained approval on two $50 bids for the resale of property #0135-00-001-004-00-000-00, Lot 1, Block 4, Crestview addition, and also property # 0140-00-002-003-0-000-00, Lot 2, Block 3, Crestview second addition.
Agreement No. 333025, lease with purchase option for Road Machinery or Equipment between Jackson County Board of County Commissioners and the State of Oklahoma through the Oklahoma Department of Transportation on 2015 John Deer 160GLC hydraulic excavator in the amount if $182,567.42, District #3, was approved.
Also, agreement no. 332026, lease with purchase option for Road Machinery or Equipment between Jackson County Board of County Commissioners and the State of Oklahoma through the Oklahoma Department of Transportation of 2015 John Deer 672G Motor Grader in the amount of $216,300.00, District #2 was approved.
With no new business and the approval of claims, the meeting was adjourned.
