Southwest Oklahoma Community Action RSVP Program will sponsor the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program also known as VITA for the 2010 filing tax season, VITA helps low-income tax payers claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) by offering FREE tax preparation services in Greer, Harmon and Jackson Counties for families and individuals with household incomes of less than $49,000. Volunteers are trained to prepare the basic federal and state income tax returns. Above are RSVP volunteers unpacking their training material for the 2010 filing tax season.
