Duke Christmas parade planned

“A Disney Christmas” will be the theme of the Duke Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade set for 2 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 12. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries in three categories: Youth Groups, Church Groups and Other. Line-up for entries will take place at Planters Coop at 1:30 p.m. There is no entry fee.

Children are welcome to visit with Santa after the parade, and a benefit lunch for the Duke Beautification Committee will be served in the Duke Community Building. Vendors are welcome, and can contact Becky Warren at 679-3958 for booth info. Music will be provided by the Roaring Tiger Band.
