Pathways Pregnancy Resource
Center will be held Sunday, Dec.
12 from 2 to 4 p.m. Come see how
your contributions are being put
to good use with layettes and parenting
materials for clients and
their newborns.
Pathways is currently seeking
donations to be able to "go medical".
This would mean paying for
training and purchasing a state-ofthe-
art ultrasound to be able to
allow clients to see their unborn
children. Pathways serves a five
county area of Jackson, Tillman,
Kiowa, Greer and Harmon counties.
This year, Pathways has started
seeing clients from north Texas
too. In addition to free pregnancy
tests, peer counseling for any
pregnancy-related issue is available.
Pathways also gives referrals
for medical needs and various
social services available in the
community. A 501(c)(3) not-forprofit
organization, Pathways is
supported only by caring individuals,
businesses, and churches. It
receives no county, state or federal
funding. In the new year
Pathways will be extending its
hours. Currently, it is open
Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
and Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m.
Pathways is located at 115 W.
Walker, across from Love's
Country Store and behind
Shanda's Shots on N. Main Street,
in Altus.
Please come join Pathways
staff and board members for a
time of refreshments and fellowship
at this festive Open House.
