The Altus Public School Board will hold its regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. at the Administration Office.

During this meeting, a group of local citizens will present a proposal for a new fitness and wellness center for Altus High School students.

The school board will be reorganized through the election of officers for President and Vice President of the Board.

The consent agenda with normal business procedures will be considered.

Policy changes for the district, if any, will be discussed.

Many employment-related items will be presented as required. Retirements and or resignations will be considered. If there are any reassignments of district personnel to include a change in salary, they will also be discussed. Proposed substitutes, time sheet employees, volunteers and extra duty assignments will be considered by the board. If there are any new hires, there may be an executive session to discuss their employment. Certified and Non-Certified personnel on a temporary contract may be approved by the Board.
