Firefighters and their spouses are invited to dinner and a movie courtesy of the churches of Jackson County. This event is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 30. There will be two dining times and two show times.
Dinner will be served at the Grapevine Café at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. The movie “Fireproof” will be shown at the old Plaza Theater, 107 N. Hudson, at 7 and 9 p.m.
Childcare will be provided at the First Baptist Church for any firefighter with young children from 5:15 to 9 p.m. (please take advantage of the first dining time and show if you need childcare).
Event coordinator Kevin Baker asks all firefighters to RSVP by calling 482-3377 and indicating which time they prefer.
The public is invited to join the firefighters for the movie “Fireproof.” Firefighters will have reserved seating. The movie is also free to the public, but seating is on a first come, first served basis.
Reasonably priced concession will be made available to the public. Concession are complimentary for firefighters and spouses.
