The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation is seeking the driver in a one-car accident who fled the scene. The accident occurred 11/4 miles west of Hobart at 12:48 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned one and a half times and came to rest on its top.

The driver's identity was unknown Monday morning. Three passengers were involved, including a 15-month-old girl, Jezilyn Wilson of Cordell, who was not injured. The child was restrained by a car seat.

Christina Wilson, 24, of Cordell, was transported to Elkview General Hospital in Kiowa County and admitted in stable condition with internal and external trunk injuries. Jessica Dirickson, 18, also of Cordell, was transported to Elkview General Hospital and also admitted in stable condition with internal and external trunk injuries. Neither passenger was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Wilson and Dirickson have both been discharged from Elkview General Hospital.

The accident is being investigated by Trooper George Hoyle of the Kiowa County detachment.
