City council to meet this evening

The Altus City Council will have a special called meeting today at 5 p.m. with the Altus Association of Realtors at First State Bank, 714 N. Main.

The subject will be city planning and code enforcement. "We've had a number of houses flagged," said Realtor Arvella Wall, "and we're just trying to get some clarification" about Altus' code requirements.

The meeting is open and the public is invited to attend.
