Four people were arrested late Thursday evening on a rural Greer County road for suspicion of stealing anhydrous ammonia, a key ingredient in methamphetamine.
Arrested were Joseph Charles Skalicky, 24, and Jerry Dwain Adcock, 43, both of Mangum and David Glenn Green, 23, and Tammy Lynn Wade, 22, both of Hobart.
At around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Greer County Game Warden Dane Polk observed a car parked on a rural road northwest of Blair and saw the four suspects attempting to steal anhydrous ammonia from a nurse tank parked in an adjacent field, according to District Attorney John Wampler.
The four were arrested by Greer County deputies and lithium batteries and pseudoephedrine -- also ingredients in meth -- were found in the vehicle.
Bond for each was set at $100,000 and they are expected to be arraigned in Greer County District Court on Monday.
Wampler said that the District Three Drug Task Force, Mangum Police and Jackson County Sheriff's Office assisted Greer County is the arrests.
