Altus shot a team score of 330 to defeat defending state champion Duncan that had a 338 . Both Altus and Duncan qualified for the state tournament along with Oklahoma City McGuinness (385), El Reno (385), Chickasha (388), and Harrah (421).
Whitney McCuistion won individual medalist honors with a 77. Her nearest competitor was teammate Leanna Litsch who carded an 80. Brianna Vargas shot a 86, Priscilla Reyes, 87 and Sydney Risinger had a 94.
The state tournament will be held May 5 and 6
