Keith was born at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus on Nov. 19, 1977, to Dan and Lynda (Nesmith) Cook. He grew up in Mangum and attended Mangum High School, graduating in 1995. At age 9, Keith started driving a tractor for his grandpa Clinton. He developed a love for farming and ranching, which continued to be a big part of his life. Keith was employed with Miller Farms of Reed. He enjoyed large groups and never met a stranger. Keith loved the outdoors. His favorites included hunting, fishing and boating, and he loved riding his 4-wheeler. He was loved by all and will be sorely missed. Keith will be missed by his many friends in Mangum and throughout the country.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Minnie Cook, and a brother, Joseph Cook.
He is survived by his parents; three brothers, David Cook, Robert Cook and his wife Corrie, all of Mangum, and Danny Cook and his wife Jeannie of Trinton, Texas; grandparents, Clinton and Verna Nesmith of Mangum, and Jim Cook of Walker, Calif.; one niece, Allison Cook; four nephews, Kyle, Derrick, Clay Ellis of Mangum, and Jessey Cook of Trinton; and numerous family members.
