Blair baseball loses to Sterling

Blair lost to Sterling 6-5 in 7 innings in baseball action Wednesday.

The teams were tied at

5-5 and went to two extra innings. The contest was decided on a wild pitch, scoring the winning Sterling run from third base. Shawn Salefske pitched the first three innings for Blair followed by Richard Reynolds who went the last four.

The game marked an improvement for Blair, which had been run-ruled the last two contests against Sterling. Blair plays today at 5 p.m. in the Geronimo tournament against Geronimo.
