The Warren Senior Citizens/Community will be having their regular Tuesday music night at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Located 7 miles east of Blair on Highway 19. They will be selling hamburgers with chips for $1, pop for .50˘. All coffee, tea and desserts are free. Also they will have bratwurst on a roll, for $1.
The Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge will be conducting "Stars Over the Wichitas" Interpretive Programs on Oct. 15 and 16, 2004. The public is invited to paricipate in an evening with the stars, where they will study major constellations and other heavenly bodies with assistance from an amateur astronomer. Bring your own optics, or view the night skies through a 13" Dobsonian telescope. Reservations for the program are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis by telephoning the Refuge weekdays beginning Monday, Oct. 4, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

A free seminar on "Caregiver Stress" hosted by Southwest Technology Center's Business and Industries Services and the Southwest Oklahoma Business Alliance will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at the Southern Prairie Library Conference Room at 421 North Hudson. The seminar is especially designed for those who have a spouse, friend or for healthcare workers who have to attend to the daily needs of the ill or elderly.
