BLAIR -- A fire blamed on a faulty propane hot water tank destroyed a house three miles south and two miles east of Blair valued at $120,000 Sunday night.

Madison Clinton of the Friendship Volunteer Fire Department said a call was received by 911 at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday, reporting a fire at the home of J.D. Morris at 20590 South County Road 257, Blair. Engines from the Warren, Blair and Friendship Volunteer Fire Departments responded and were on the scene until after midnight.

The family was in Lawton at the time the fire ignited and came home while firefighters were battling the blaze.

No one was injured, but the home and all its contents were a total loss.
