ALTUS -- Two people were slightly injured Friday morning in a three vehicle collision at the entrance to Atwoods, 2200 N. Main.

John Hill, 77, of Altus, and Karl Lennox, 41, of Independence, Mo., were treated for non-incapacitating injuries after the accident at 9:50 a.m., according to an Altus Police Department collision report. Hill had an injury to the head. Lennox received an arm injury.

According to the report, a 2004 Nissan Titan driven by Jeannie Hill, 60, of Altus, was motioned to proceed into traffic northbound on Main out of the Atwoods parking lot, when her car struck a 2000 Ford F350 headed north on the inside lane on Main driven by Freddie Lennox, 44, of Duke. The collision caused the F350 driven by Lennox, which was towing a race car trailer, to veer left and collide with a 1986 Toyota pickup, which was stopped on the southbound inside lane, that was driven by Bryon Rohrer, 40, of Altus.

John Hill was in the Nissan along with Jeannie Hill and two other passengers -- Elaine Castro, 59, of Altus, and Dawn Harl, 49, of Altus. John Hill was the only injured passenger in that vehicle.

Karl Lennox was in the F350 along with Freddie Lennox and four other passengers -- Robin Lennox, 47, of Duke, Ursula McLendon, 35, of Kansas City, Mo., A.B. Lennox, of Independence, Mo., and Kinyotta Lennox, 21, of Blue Springs, Mo. Karl Lennox was the only injured passenger in that vehicle.

One passenger was in the pickup driven by Rohrer -- Ronnie Yager, 34, of Altus. Neither of them were injured.
