Deanna was a gifted artist and quilt maker. She enjoyed all crafts, needlework, gardening and cooking. She was a 1962 graduate of Altus High School. Deanna and Paul enjoyed many years of weather watching together. She had many friends on the ham radios. She enjoyed getting together with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Novella Collier Jones Hendricks; one sister-in-law Melba McEndree; and one nephew, Robert Jones.
She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; two brothers, Frankie Collier and wife Brenda of Altus and Johnnie Collier of Austin, Texas; one sister, Tammy Davis and husband Gene of Altus; her mother-in-law, Lucy McEndree of Altus; a brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Jane McEndree of the Fort Worth, Texas, area; nine nephews, Robbie Collier of Stillwater; Jeff and Tim Collier, Ryan and Brady Davis, all of Altus; Lonnie and David Jones of Oklahoma City; Scott and Stephen McEndree of the Fort Worth, Texas, area; one niece, Lori McEndree also of the Ft. Worth, Texas, area.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Altus City Cemetery with the Rev. Don Sevedge officiating. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of their choice.
