Maude E. Russell Scroggins and Charles A. Scroggins. She died Nov. 14, 2004 at English Village Manor Nursing Home in Altus.
She was married to Roy S. Warren Sept. 20, 1936 and they were married for 66 years when Mr. Warren preceded her in death March 20, 2002.
Warren was a homemaker for her family and was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle in Altus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, J.C. Scroggins; two sisters, Louise Collie and Oleta Addison.
Mrs. Warren is survived by her children, Barbara Darnell and husband Lou of Altus; Steve Warren of Mangum; Duane Warren an Marlene of Laguna Nigeul, Calif.; Glenda Marie Warren of Altus; four sisters, Nora Lee Braughton of Hot Springs, Ariz.; Mildred Sloan of Pomona, Calif.; Frances Ross and Charlene Loy of Topock, Ariz.; grandchildren, John Darnell and Chance Warren,both of Childress, Texas, Gary Banister of Lewisville, Texas and Scott Warren, Grady Warren, and Kelly Bullan, all of California and eight great grandchildren. Additional survivors are a sister-in-law, Vi Jackson of Altus, three brothers-in-law in California and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Warren loved God and her family and dearly loved children, caring for them in her home and the church nursery.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Altus City Cemetery. Arrangements are with People's Co-operative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf.
