ALTUS -- A 19-year-old man and three juveniles were arrested Friday in the Nov. 17 robbery of a Domino's Pizza deliveryman.

Joseph Cantrell Jones of 1304 E. Oakhurst in Altus was arrested on a warrant for robbery with a weapon.

According to an affidavit filed with the Jackson County Courthouse by Altus police Detective David Meadows, Jones and three other juvenile males from Altus robbed Bobby J. Wilson, a Domino's employee who had received a food order by phone to be delivered to 1009 York. The order was called in by a female, inquiring about bringing change for a hundred-dollar bill. Wilson told police that the caller information displayed on his computer showed a different address than 1009 York.

When Wilson arrived, he was met by a male who had been waiting on the porch of the residence. He was then approached by three or four more males.

One of the males was handed the food and a second male punched Wilson in the face. One of the other males then displayed a shotgun to Wilson, placed it to his head and told him not to move. Wilson said the four then took the pizzas and his money belt, which contained approximately $24 and the food order was valued at $43.

The shoes of two of the juveniles arrested matched footprints found at the crime scene, the affidavit said. The third interview conducted led to that juvenile admitting to the robbery, saying that each person was to carry out their job in the robbery.

The affidavit says that in interviews with the juveniles, one admitted participation in the crime, and that it was Jones who struck Wilson.

The affidavit also stated that one of the juveniles was wearing a global position tracking device, attached to his leg by juvenile services. After reviewing the tracking history on this boy, it was determined that on Nov. 17, he was in the Spruce area when the food order was placed and at the crime scene when the robbery occurred.

Jones has no prior convictions and is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail on $100,000 bond. His preliminary hearing conference is scheduled for Feb. 2.
