. She has no medical insurance and no family in this are to help pay for medical expenses. A fund has been set up at First National Bank and Red River Federal Credit Union under her name for donations. Nelda is a very well known for being active in voluntary work and "critter sitting" for people.

A Brandon Beach memorial fund has been set up at First National Bank. Any donations can be made at the bank or at AgPreference, 3120 N. Main. Brandon is the son of T.J. and Diane Beach of Elmer.

The Warren Senior Citizens/Community will be having their regular Tuesday music night at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Located 7 miles east of Blair on Highway 19. They will be selling hot dogs with chili with chips for $1.50, pop for .50˘. All coffee, tea and desserts are free.

Advance ticket orders for the 2005 Miss Altus Pageant are now being taken. Eleven young women are vying for the title this year. The pageant will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the City Auditorium. Tickets are $10 and $8. and all seats are reserved.

The Altus Air Force Base Officers' Spouses' Club will host a Mardi Gras and Casino Night from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Freedom Community Center on Altus Air Force Base. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple. Spouses of deployed Altus Air Force Base personnel are admitted free of charge if they contact Amanda Jones by Feb. 1. The Altus chapter of the American Red Cross is holding a fundraiser dinner theatre called "Happy Daze Homicide -- Welcome Class of 1955" beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at Western Oklahoma State College.
