GREER COUNTY -- Four Mangum teens ended up overturned in a creek bed Sunday afternoon when the vehicle they were riding in went out of control on a muddy road and ran off a bridge.

Three of the teens were injured when the 1989 Jeep Wrangler driven by Dustin W. Phillips, 17, of Mangum, ran off the bridge about 5:15 p.m. on Taft Road some 41/2 miles west of Mangum in Greer County. The Jeep landed on its top.

According to a Highway Patrol report, Phillips was driving eastbound on Taft Road at an unsafe speed when he lost control of the vehicle. None of the vehicle's occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Phillips was taken by Highway Patrol Trooper Brian Thompson to Mangum City Hospital, where he refused treatment for lacerations to one of his arms.

Kassady S. McDaniel, 17, of Mangum, was taken by Greer County EMS to Mangum City Hospital, then to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, treated and released.

Sarah R. Bogart, 16, of Mangum, was taken by Greer County EMS to Mangum City Hospital, where she was admitted in good condition with head injuries.

Filey L. Griffis, 18, of Mangum, was not injured
