She was married to Severo Villerael Maldonado, Sr. and he preceded her in death.
Maldonado was a homemaker and was a member of Templo La Hermosa in Hobart.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
Survivors include her mother, Maria Vasquez, of Plainview, Texas; two brothers, Ramon Vasquez, and Luis Vasquez, both of Plainview; her sisters, Ninfa Luna, of Uvalde, Texas, and Rosa Baldtieras, of Robstown, Texas; eight sons and four daughters, Ruben Maldonado, of Hobart, Armando Maldonado of Euporia, Miss., Juan A. Maldonado, Maria Luis Maldonado and Severo Maldonado, Jr., all of Plainview, Salvadore Maldonado, of Hobart, Maria Anna Gilley of Lubbock, Maria Criselda Gardner and Joel Maldonado both of
Junction City, Kan., Melissa Thomasson of Junction City, Jacob Maldonado of Plainview, and Israel Maldonado, of Junction City; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wake services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005, and at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Templo La Hermoso, 1004 S. Jefferson in Hobart. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. March 11, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Hobart followed by interment in Hobart Rose Cemetery.
