Funeral service for Clarence Herman Williams III, 33, of Frederick will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at the Church of the Living God (C.W.F.F.) with Bishop E.L. Bowie, pastor, officiating.

Williams died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital, in Lawton. Burial will be at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home.

Clarence Herman Williams III (Mr. Clarence) was born on Feb. 17, 1972, in Frederick, to Clarence Herman Williams, Jr. and Gladys (Tatum) Williams. He was born and raised in Frederick, where he graduated from Frederick High School on May 5, 1991. Mr. Clarence was a member of the Church of the Living God (C.W.F.F.). Listening to music, eating and being around his family was a delight to him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys (Tatum) Williams; his grandmothers, Ellender T. Francis Williams and Rachel (Tatum) McDaniel; two brothers, Troy and Dexter Tatum; one sister, Devoria Morrison; three aunts: Essie Rockenmore, Willie Mae (Tatum) Nolan, and Joyceland M. Patterson; three uncles, Roy McDaniel, Paul McDaniel, Jr., and James Tatum Jr.

He is survived by his father, Clarence H. Williams, Jr.; his grandfather, Clarence H. Williams, Sr. of New Orleans, La.; two brothers, Michael D. Tatum (Pamela) of Canyon Country, Calif., and Gernardo G. Tatum (Diane) of Frederick; two sisters, Tevedous V. Hurd (Freddie) of Oklahoma City, and Tammerler T. Harris (Benny) of Dallas; two nieces, Swanzetta (Laylynn) Hurd, of Oklahoma City, and Dejsha Garcella Tatum, of Fort Jackson, S.C.; two nephews, James Michael Tatum, of San Bernidino, Calif., and Xaiver Hurd, of Oklahoma City; aunts, Lillie Mae Lee, Cherylyn Preston, and Cynthia Crowley, of New Orleans, Virginia Buckner, of Altus, Lolly Faye and Mae Jackson, of Oklahoma City; uncles, Hillard and Ronnie Williams of New Orleans, and Charles Williams and Ernest Jackson of Oklahoma City; two great-nieces, Symone and Zhanny Reese; godmother, Gerletha Peppers; special family, Marvella Miles (Peaches) and Girt Weakley; and a host of cousins and friends of the family.
