Sybil Aline Vitosky, 87, of Pasadena, Texas, formerly of Willow, died, June 4, 2005, at the Paramount Rehab Center in Pasadena.

She was born May 22, 1918, in Mangum, to Ira Thomas Close and Agnes Williams Close. She married the love of her life, John Vitosky Jr., on Aug. 25, 1933, in Granite. to this union one child was born. John and Sybil worked many years on the farm together. She was a member of the Willow Baptist Church.

Vitosky moved to Highland, Texas, after John passed away to be with her daughter and son-in-law. She loved her family and spending time with them.

Sybil is survived by one daughter, Jo Jean Lowrance and son-in-law Jake of Highland; one sister, Laverne Davidson of Moore; granddaughter, Sandra Wallingford; great-grandchildren Aaron Roberson Jr., Elisha Rash, and Jarrod Barker; great-great grandchildren, McCala and Tristan Rash and Heather Roberson; two nieces, Carol and Sharon, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Sybil was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson Keith Lawrance; and a granddaughter, Toye Vitosky.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at the Willow Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Vitosky officiating. Arrangements are with Greer Funeral Home in Granite.
