OLUSTEE -- A 21-year-old Eldorado man died early Sunday morning when the pickup truck he was driving rolled three times off the highway a mile west of Olustee.

Ismeal Vazquez Ortiz died at the scene of massive internal injuries at 4:30 a.m.

According to a Highway Patrol report, Vazquez was driving westbound on State Highway 6 in a 2001 Dodge pickup when the vehicle ran off the road to the left. Vazquez overcorrected and the pickup went into a broadslide into a ditch then rolled three times, coming to rest on its wheels.

Vazquez, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle on the second roll.

Highway Patrol, Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Altus Fire Department and Olustee Fire Department personnel responded.
