Timothy Lawrence Butler, 22, of 105 S. Main, Eldorado; Valeriano Galvan, 20, of 306 E. B St., Eldorado; and Derek Matern, 18, of 205 S. College St., Gould, are charged with two counts of second degree burglary.
Butler, who was arrested Thursday on a warrant, had not yet been arraigned on the charges by press time and is being held under a $50,000 bond.
Galvan and Matern were arrested on warrants Aug. 12 and are still jailed under bonds of $15,000 each. They are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing conference Sept. 14.
According to an affidavit filed in District Court, on July 9 the trio broke into a vehicle at a farm a quarter mile south of East County Road 179 on South County Road 196 and took two rifles -- a limited edition Model 6081 Marlin .22-caliber with a Bushnell scope and a Chinese SKS Model 56 with a NeStar 4 X 30 scope, shoulder strap and knife bayonet.
Also, the affidavit says, the men broke into a storage container on the property and took a Honda TRX-350 four wheeler.
Court records show that Butler had been sentenced to five years in the state Department of Corrections in November 2002 for larceny from a house.
