Garland Lee Vaughan, 67, died at his home in Mangum, Wednesday, July 20, 2005. Services will be at Stewart Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. Monday with Delbert Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Stewart Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

He was born in Mangum on Sept. 15, 1937 to Roy and Nancy Brooks Vaughan. he spent his entire life in Mangum. He graduated from Mangum High School in 1956. He worked as a parts salesman for Ford. He later worked for Bill Willis at the cable company in Granite. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one sister, Rhonda K. Wilson and husband John of Cordell; a nephew, Scott Hamblin and wife Kelly of Mangum; two nieces, Tonia Marquez and husband Mario and Kristina of Cordell; eight nieces and nephews and two great nephews and other relatives and friends.
