"The Oklahoma Experience: Re-Visions," a "Let's Talk About It, Oklahoma" reading discussion series, features works by contemporary Oklahoma authors who view the Oklahoma experience from the perspective of the late 20th century. The Altus Public Library will host the series of five programs beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday. Participants may sign up and check out books for the series. Books, theme materials and services are provided by "Let's Talk About It, Oklahoma," a cooperative project of the Library Association and the Oklahoma Humanities Council. Navajo School Library will be sponsoring a book fair from today to 16. The book fair is the only fundraiser the library has each year. The school budget allows for buying new books but they use the book fair money for A.R. awards, library rewards and book repair supplies. The hours for the book fair will be 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on school days and Sept. 15 and 16 during parent-teacher conference.
