The coming 2005 football season marks the time when "Winners Give It All!" It's Bedlam in Oklahoma as the popular Oklahoma Blood Institute Bedlam promotion returns to encourage blood donors across the state to show their true colors.

Whether you support OU or OSU you can be a player in the big game - the game of life - by supporting your community's blood supply.

Join JCMH and the Oklahoma Blood Institute during the upcoming blood drive at the Altus Community Center on Falcon Road Monday, Oct. 3 from noon until 6 p.m. And regardless of which shirt you choose you'll know you made the right choice by choosing to donate blood to help patients in local hospitals fight the ultimate rivalry between life and death.

As a blood donor, you'll receive the free OU or OSU Bedlam "Winners Give It All" t-shirt of your choice. Donors may enter to win a football autographed by their favorite Bedlam coach. Every donor is also eligible to enter a drawing for a PDA (i.e. Palm Pilot, etc) donated by JCMH. Donors that have donated four times between January 2005 and December 2005 will be automatically entered in a drawing for a LPD Large Screen TV to be given away at the January Battle of the Media Blood Drive in January. These special drawings donated by JCMH are only for our donors at the Altus Community and JCMH blood drives.

"Now is the perfect time to kick off the annual OBI Bedlam promotion," said Ronald O. Gilcher, M.D., FACP, OBI President, CEO and Medical Director. "The excitement it generates across the state demonstrates the collegiate pride we all have in Oklahoma's nationally famed OU and OSU football teams."

"Plus, it gives all of us at OBI an extra opportunity to express our pride and appreciation for loyal community leaders and blood donors across the state. These individuals know that with the football season comes the holiday season and that Labor Day always flags the need to boost the blood supply to meet the needs of the increased numbers of patients in the hospitals we serve."
