Santa Claus is coming to Blair in a firetruck at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at City Hall. There will be candy for all.

A workshop for teens on Iris Paper Folding will begin at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Altus Public Library. Teens will put together a special Christmas card using paper-folding techniques. A Retirement Reception for Sally Doughty, Utilities Services manager for the City of Altus will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 117 N. Spurgeon. She is retiring after 33 years with the city.

Oklahoma Retired Educators Association will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Friendship Inn Restaurant. The Christmas program will be given by Jim Brown and Chad Wiginton.
