A workshop for teens on Iris Paper Folding will begin at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Altus Public Library. Teens will put together a special Christmas card using paper-folding techniques. The Warren Senior Citizens/Community will be having their regular Tuesday music night at 6 p.m. Dec. 20, located 7 miles east of Blair on Highway 19. They will be selling hamburgers with chips for $1.50 and all sodas are .50 cents. Coffee and tea are free.

A Retirement Reception for Sally Doughty, Utilities Services manager for the City of Altus will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 117 N. Spurgeon. She is retiring after 33 years with the city.
