Tommy D. Hughes, 62, of Midwest City, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, in Midwest City.

He was born Jan. 21, 1943, in Altus to James Alfred and Ronnie Lee Hinkle Hughes. He was a 1961 graduate of Altus High School and a 1966 graduate of Southwestern State University with a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy. He was a pharmacist for 39 years. He married his first grade sweetheart, Donna Gail Wagoner, on July 2, 1961, in Altus. They were born one day apart in Altus.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James and Dr. Quillen Hughes.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna; three sons, Kent, Scott and Brent and wife Stephanie Hughes; five grandchildren, Brody and wife Mardi, Cody, Braidon, Bryson and Brock Hughes; father-in-law, Harry Wagoner; sisters-in-law, Vickie Avant and husband Rodney, and Kay Hughes; nephews and nieces, Kris Thompson, Brad, Ryan and Paul Hughes, Jamie and son Taven, Jenna Bass and Jacey Avant.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sunnylane Freewill Baptist Church. Pastor Frank Wiley will officiate.

Services under the direction of Ford Funeral Service.
