, Lodge 120, will hold its annual Teens Talk to Teens scholarship fund-raiser. The fund-raiser is scheduled from Jan. 2 through Feb. 10. This scholarship is an essay contest open to all Jackson County students. All donations will be picked up by off-duty Altus Police officers or may be mailed directly to F.O.P. Lodge 120, P.O. Box 121, Altus, OK 73522.

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at The Elks Club, for a Dutch treat supper. Speaker will be nutrition project director June Billington.

The Southwest Oklahoma Chapter of the American Red Cross is taking registration for an Adult CPR class to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at the chapter office, 905 N. Willard. Pre-registration is required and class must be pre-paid by Friday, Jan. 6. For more information, please call 482-5303.

A benefit auction and barbecue dinner will be held Jan. 28 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds for Noel Olguin, 18-year-old son of Abelino and Victoria Olguin of Eldorado. He was critically injured in a Christmas Eve farming accident. He lost his left arm and his legs are currently paralyzed. He is in the trauma ICU of the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
