This friendly competition is aimed at promoting the blood drive and encouraging a good turnout of donors and to see who can bring in the most donors between the Altus Times and the radio stations so if you are reading this article and give blood on Monday, be sure and note you came because of the newspaper.
OBI is also doing a promotion with Bob Moore Saturn in OKC. He is giving away a 2006 Saturn VUE. The drawing will be on Feb 15. Every donor is eligible to enter. If you are a Lifeshare donor, or sign up to join LIfeshare Donor Registry (for organ donors), you will receive another entry.
If you belong to OEA, you will receive another entry.
Jackson County Memorial Hospital has donated a $100 gas card for a drawing. Only donors are eligible to enter. Those who donate four times from January through December 2006 will also be automatically entered in the grand prize drawing for a $1,500 bank card.
All donors will received a long-sleeved “LOST” T-shirt.
JCMH has also come up with a special drawing for first time OBI donors. The first drawing will be held after the March blood drive for a digital camera.
OBI’s blood supply is at critical levels. All blood types are needed at this time. Please come in and donate.
