A prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Joe Arledge officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
He was born March 6, 1985, in San Felipe, GTO, Mexico to Romulo Sr. and Estela Sandoval Chavez. He attended school in San Felipe. He worked as a mechanic. He loved drawing and sketch work and especially enjoyed taking care of his dogs.
He is survived by his parents, Romulo Chavez Sr., his mother Estela Sandoval and stepfather Arturo Melendez; two sisters, Blanca Miriam and Noemi Keren; brother Julio Chavez; grandparents Pablo Sandoval and Sebastiana Balleza and Guadalupe Chavez and Jenoveva Martinez; and many friends survive him.
