He graduated high school in 1981 in Duncan and later received his certification in heat and air installation at the All American Trade School in Oklahoma City. He served his country in the National Guard and was honorably discharged several years ago.
He enjoyed fishing and golfing and loved to play pool. The greatest enjoyment of his life was his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
He is survived by his father, Leslie Floyd Vaughn of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Cyndi Lenard; two brothers, Bob Vaughn and his wife Michelle, and Ron Vaughn, all of Oklahoma City; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Memorial service is scheduled for Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Ron Vaughn officiating.
