A Better Youth Foundation will have a parent/volunteer coach meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, March 3, for those registered for the Spring Break Flag Football. The Southwest Oklahoma Chapter of the American Red Cross is currently taking registration for a Babysitter’s Training Class to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at 905 N. Willard. First Assembly of God, 1400 Falcon Road, continues to host a showing of the video series “Fight for the Family.” The series, by T.D. Jakes, aims at strengthening family life and will be offered at 6 p.m. Feb. 25. This is a free public showing. Nursery up to 5 years will be available.

A defensive driving class is being offered from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 4, in Mangum. The 6-hour classroom instruction is approved by the National Safety Council and the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. The $50 fee is set by the Oklahoma Legislature.
